Our story began in 1985, just before wedding bells would ring. Mrs. Maxwell Cumbia, our thoughtful wedding director, organized a bridal shower where each guest brought both a gift and a cherished recipe. Mrs. Cumbia herself contributed what would become our signature creation—a wonderful cheesecake recipe she had discovered in a community cookbook published by First Baptist Church of Richmond, Virginia. This treasured recipe originated from Mrs. T.F. Adams, wife of Pastor Theodore Adams.

This moment of sharing became the inspiration behind our name: Legacy Cheesecakes. Our original flavor, fittingly named "The Legacy," honors this beginning. From this single cherished recipe, our collection has blossomed into a magnificent palette of over 70 distinct flavors, each telling its own sweet story.
